Alphabetics Game

Alphabetics is a fun, Scrabble®-like word forming game that will soon have your child writing whole words with ease. It features English digraphs (e.g. sh, ch and tion) as well as the consonants and vowels to boost spelling pattern recognition.

ALPHABETICS can be used in THREE WAYS:

ONE, it is an enjoyable game for literate adults, taking typically 45 mins per game. TWO, using cards up to a certain level, the game can be played with children. THREE, tutors, parents and aides can use the letters and digraphs to help children form words.

All cards types (vowels, consonants & digraphs, e.g. sh) have different colours. Children quickly learn to select the right balance.

Lions on the bottom of cards mean letters are not inverted.

Unlike Scrabble©, the Alphabetics Game uses vowel and consonant digraphs to help teach children to form words.

Plenty of blank cards mean you will never be short - even if you lose some! Just use the reference sheet provided to help you make a new one.

The Alpbabetics Game has many fun variations. They are all explained on easy-to-follow, sturdy instruction cards.

Level numbers correspond to Reader numbers, so the difficulty level of the game can be easily adjusted. Just play with the cards appropriate for your reading level.

Each card has a different value. The harder to use letters score higher.
