Fitzroy Sounds

Fitzroy Word Families
The Fitzroy Word Families are great for extra spelling and word forming practice. They should not be used instead of the Fitzroy Readers, but used in conjunction they can help students gain greater reading and writing confidence.
The Word Families books contain pages of reading and writing practice. Using word families they consolidate spelling patterns so that correct spelling becomes almost automatic.
The Word Families books also contain spelling tests designed not only to evaluate the current reading level of your child, but also to diagnose specific areas that need improvement.
Used in conjunction with the Fitzroy Phonics Readers they will be of especial help to struggling readers.
