Early Pack
With this pack your child will soon be reading hundreds of basic words - even ones he or she has never seen before. And, thanks to the systematic introduction of several essential sight words, proper sentences and basic short stories won't be a problem either.

- All basic sounding words (words that can be sounded out using basic letter sounds, like cat, wombat and goblin)

Progress Pack
The Progress Pack follows straight on from the Early Pack. These materials will reinforce sounding-out skill with longer (but still logical) spellings. They will bring in, just a few at a time, the most used sight words. And they will introduce the most common digraphs (such as all, sh, ing, ar, ay...)

Intermediate Pack
Having finished this pack, your child will be reading with confidence. Not only will all of the reading basics be reinforced, now more advanced digraphs will be introduced (like, ch, th and long vowel sounds e.g. a-e and i-e [as in cake and bike]), opening up vast numbers of new words that can be ‘decoded’ - even if they have never been seen before!
In this pack your child will:
- Consolidate everything learnt in the earlier packs
- Learn many new important digraphs (like ch, th and oa)
- Learn important long-vowel digraphs (like a-e as in cake and i-e as in bike)
- Greatly expand the number of sight words known
- Be introduced to many basic grammatical concepts, including: punctuation, gender and parts of speech
- Learn key spelling rules such as doubling letters and dropping silent e’s
- Grow comfortable reading longer stories with a rich vocabulary.

Advanced Pack
The Advanced Pack takes your child to reading, writing and grammatical mastery. At its conclusion your child will be comfortable reading the majority of texts, including newspaper articles and novels (like Harry Potter!).
In this pack your child will:
- Learn advanced digraphs (like war as in warm)
- Learn all of the most common sight words
- Learn all essential spelling rules
- Be able to read many books from the library
- Understand key grammatical concepts like: advanced punctuation, tenses, synonyms and superlatives
